About the Role
We’re seeking a highly skilled and resourceful Technical Operations Associate to handle specific technical customer requests during both implementation and post-go-live. As part of the team, you’ll be the go-to person for resolving technical challenges that don’t require engineering-level intervention but are crucial for our customers’ success. You’ll work closely with our internal teams and customers to ensure smooth operations and data integrity.
This role is perfect for someone with a strong technical or operations background, comfort in data querying, ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Sage), and a desire to help customers solve complex data-related problems.
What You’ll Do
- Act as the primary technical resource to handle case-by-case technical customer requests.
- Perform ongoing database querying, data cross-referencing, and maintain integration hygiene.
- Monitor integration health, ensuring merchant systems align with our platforms and integrations.
- Collaborate with customer-facing teams (CX, Implementation) to address technical requests that don’t require product changes.
- Pull reports and process custom workflows such as month-end close or financial reporting in formats not yet supported by our platform.
- Troubleshoot integrations (ERP, tax, CRM systems) to resolve customer issues quickly and efficiently.
- Help build out internal documentation for recurring technical issues, and contribute to process improvement.
Examples of Work
- A new CFO needs data pulled and cross-referenced with their ERP system. You’ll step in to extract, format, and deliver the data efficiently.
- A customer using Sage requires specific monthly reports not yet built into our product. You’ll generate these reports until a product solution is available.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with tax or ERP integrations, ensuring customers maintain seamless operations.
Qualifications
- 5-8 years of relevant experience (Engineering, Technical Program Management, Client Experience, Sales Engineering)
- Strong technical background in databases and querying.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Sage, QBO) and data integrations.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with internal teams and understand customer data needs.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Ability to communicate technical solutions to customers in a clear and approachable manner.
- Ability to use SQL and generate client facing reports
- Comfort with macros or google script
- Experience working in a fast-paced startup or technical environment preferred.
