About this role
You’ll be joining our Sales team to become a key member in providing our clients access to a wider array of lines of business. As our Territory Account Manager, you’ll work to expand our client base and drive new business growth within assigned territories. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the insurance industry, an insurtech background, strong sales acumen, and a proven track record of cultivating and maintaining client relationships.
You Will:
- Develop and implement strategic plans to effectively manage assigned territories, identifying key growth opportunities and prioritizing initiatives to drive new business development.
- Proactively prospect, cold call, and network to generate leads and opportunities within the assigned territory, effectively showcasing our insurance products and services to potential clients.
- Create and execute innovative sales strategies and tactics to achieve sales targets and revenue goals
- Become an expert on our platform and the many products available to address client inquiries and effectively communicate our value proposition
- Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations to management on territory performance, market trends, and opportunities for optimization and growth.
You’re Well Qualified for this Role if You Have:
- 3-5 years of related insurance experience, preferably at least partially at an insurtech
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Stellar prospecting and networking skills, preferably an existing network of agents and MGAs/wholesalers to tap into
- Proven ability to work remotely and seamlessly with multiple internal teams
What We Offer:
- Competitive Base Compensation: $60,000 base salary plus uncapped commissions (OTE is $80,000-$100,000)
