About the role
The Client Services Specialist II (CSS II) is responsible for supporting Reworld’s customers and various service offerings. This includes assisting clients with waste profiling, answering customer inquiries, resolving customer escalations, coordinating transportation and other related services in a safe and compliant manner. The CSS II is responsible for interacting with various internal departments and operations to facilitate services.
The duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Respond to calls and emails from customers to address questions and facilitate services
- Consult with customers to determine their needs and the best available service options
- Answer customer questions and respond to inquiries or requests for documentation
- Manage customer pricing and monitor historical pricing for accuracy
- Perform data entry to maintain company databases with a high level of accuracy
- Provide technical support to customers using the Reworld’s Customer Portal
- Work with your dedicated Sales Manager(s) to support the onboarding of new customers and to grow business with existing accounts
- Assist customers with both non-hazardous & hazardous waste profiling and shipments
- Resolve customer concerns related to invoices, waste shipments and other general business activities
- Review and ensure customer pick up requests are complete and accurate
- Interact with scheduling & transportation teams to ensure customer requests are being fulfilled
- Consult with customers to resolve waste discrepancies
- Provide customer reports as needed
- Assist co-workers by helping to cover workloads during absences
- Review and approve vendor invoices as needed
- Prepare quotes and proposals as needed
- Maintain all regulatory related training
- Ability to perform all Level I job functions
- Demonstrates working knowledge of regulations including RCRA, DOT, OSHA, and other regulations related to the waste industry
- Perform job functions with limited supervision including waste profiling and coordination of transportation and other services
- Successfully manage data entry with a high level of accuracy
- Demonstrate an ability to resolve most customer questions and concerns without escalating issues to managers or others for resolution
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- 2 or more years of experience in the waste/environmental industry or customer/account management
- Bachelor or Associate Degree in Environmental Science or a related field preferred, or equivalent work experience required
- Experience in the waste industry is preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- High attention to detail
- Strong organizational and record keeping skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to maintain customer and company confidentiality
- Ability to pass pre-employment background checks and drug screening
