If you are an experienced Sales Manager with Personal Lines Insurance background, who is a motivated, detailed oriented and energetic sales professional who is interested in furthering your insurance career, here’s your chance! Our sales department is growing, and we are in search of a Sales Manager to head up our team.
Our ideal candidate has 5+ years personal lines sales experience (manager/supervisory role preferred), has prior experience as a mentor, coach or team lead, exceptional sales aptitude, great communication and mentoring skills with a current MA Property & Casualty license with thorough knowledge of insurance agency management software and rating software. Bachelors’ Degree or a minimum of five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Responsibilities:
Train, mentor, and motivate a team of sales executives
Create, implement, and track goals and performance of team members
Coach sales team to achieve individual and department revenue goals
Drive agency goals and performance objectives
Track sales funnel from quoting to closing
Drive agency prospecting methods (cold calls, referrals, networking)
Oversee sales meetings and presentations
Recruit, interview and select qualified individuals to join team
Utilize agency management system and other agency applications in accordance with agency procedures
