Lili is looking for a Director Of Business Development to join our team:
We are looking for a results-driven Director Of Business Development with a strong background in the SMB ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partnership Strategy Development: Create and execute a scalable partnership strategy to integrate Lili’s solutions into SaaS or financial platforms.
- Product Conceptualization: Collaborate with internal product, marketing, engineering, and compliance teams to build a shared vision with partners on the embedded financial solutions and product distribution tactics.
- Innovation Research: Drive innovation through identifying trends in the SMB space and harness those trends to find growth opportunities.
- Negotiation & Deal Structuring: Lead negotiations, ensuring win-win agreements for all parties involved.
- Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure all partnerships comply with regulatory requirements and align with risk management policies.
Partner’s Engagement & Travel:
- Maintain strong relationships with key partners and industry stakeholders.
- Travel as needed to partner’s sites, industry events, and key market locations to strengthen partnerships and identify opportunities.
Compensation Range:
The expected annual salary range for this role is $140,000-$150,000 base + bonus based on performance. Compensation may vary based on relevant experience, skills, competencies, and certifications.

Requirements
Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Experience: 7+ years in partnerships or business development within the SMB space with evidence of successfully identifying partnership opportunities that have monetized at scale.
- Proven track record of building high-impact strategic partnerships, and closing large partnership deals in the SMB ecosystem.
- Hands-on experience in business development, partnerships, and GTM strategy execution.
- Strong negotiation and deal-closing skills, with the ability to structure complex partnerships.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
- Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth environments (preferably within a fintech startup).
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
