About the Role:
The Manager, Growth & Business Development will support a variety of activities, engaging with external organizations to manage sales processes, communicating about Cityblock, analyzing financial structures for new deals, gaining a deep understanding of the local market and policy dynamics.
Responsibilities:
- Support efforts across the Growth team by providing research, synthesis, analytics, deal structuring, negotiation support, and communications materials that will clearly explain Cityblock to external parties.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to inform critical strategic considerations for the company, including new products, new markets and refinement of partnership models. Combination of strategic projects (60-75%) and growth deals as necessary to support team capacity (25-40%)
- Partner directly with Cityblock’s President and their Chief of Staff to assist with strategic projects ranging from developing board-level materials on growth strategy, creating presentations for the Executive Leadership Team, meeting directly with our C-Suite, partnering with cross-functional teams to execute on strategic growth initiatives
- Support the Growth team in value based care deal execution, including negotiation preparation, data analysis, project management, and collaboration with teams such as finance, actuary, and implementation
- Act as a jack of all trades to support additional Commercial Office teams, including Policy, Commercial Strategy, Growth Operations, and Partner Success
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 5+ years of experience in the healthcare industry or health related field with experience in financial analysis, strategy, executive communication and story-lining.
- Willing to travel as needed (from 0% to 25% on week-by-week variable basis) to perform essential duties
- Ideal candidates can learn quickly, navigate complex problems and be comfortable in a shifting environment where priorities / workload may evolve (e.g., able to balance and shift between projects and deal work).

The actual offer will be at the company’s sole discretion and determined by relevant business considerations, including the final candidate’s qualifications, years of experience, skillset, and geographic location. The expected salary range for this position is:
$98,000 - $140,000
